The Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is seeking proposals for an agency to help research, develop and implement a strategically-driven destination brand that represents Waterloo, Iowa. During its time as a separate organization, the Waterloo CVB has used two logos. Both feature the sun above the river. More recently, it has also used Travel Waterloo for its website URL and social media channels to provide for easier identification and searches. Why Rebrand? Clearer identification Residents, and many visitors, don’t understand or know what a CVB is or does. Many confuse the Waterloo CVB with the nearby Convention Center and think we handle the booking of convention space. Others think we are the Chamber of Commerce and believe we’re focused on economic and business development.
